MERSEYSIDE RG DISPLAY TEAM AT
THE LONDON FESTIVAL OF GYMNASTICS
A picture of the gymnasts who attended the London Festival of Gymnastics Friday 30 September to Sunday 1 October 2005. The girls had a terrific time. This year we travelled early Friday so that we could attend the Gala Evening and Firework Display. It was an event we certainly enjoyed, the gala was fantastic and the fireworks were superb.
The Saturday displays were excellent and our Dream Maker display was well received, the gymnasts performed brilliantly (much better then last year) as we had a number of comments of the improvement of the Merseyside Display. Sunday was terrific with another fantastic display from our gymnasts. There were many new displays and many of the established displays. We had a great time watching the diverse and awe inspiring displays and the girls especially looked forward to watching some particular displays!!!!
We stayed at the Festival Park so there was plenty of entertainment , we all had a great time at the disco, it was Jade’s birthday, all the gymnasts went in fancy dress and we took birthday cake and candles and wished her Happy Birthday (see the photos)
All our families had a brilliant time and we look forward to attending many more Gymstradas.
